Serge Rodriguez

Talented and Community-Minded Construction Project Manager, Serge Rodriguez, seized a challenging opportunity to build a special legacy in his own community, by co-founding the first Haitian Heritage Museum outside of Haiti in 2004 and most recently, the Miami Caribbean Code (MC 2).

Serge strives to inspire the Caribbean youth, budding entrepreneurs, innovators and thought leaders both in our ever-changing Miami Caribbean community and enterprising Caribbean region.

Serge’s rewarding role includes overseeing the project’s successful programming, operations, and long-term strategic development. In 2014, the organization has successfully celebrated its 10th year of programming under his leadership.  Serge’s passion for making a vital impact of civic projects has led him to embark on his latest construction project, creating the Museum of Latin America and the Caribbean in the Miami community.

As a leading Construction Management Veteran for over nine years, Serge’s rewarding career in construction began with Bovis Lend Lease and Coscan Construction. Serge’s construction projects are upscale and historic landmarks such as the Loews Hotel, Blue and Green Diamond Condominiums, Ten Museum Park Condominiums, The Four Seasons Hotel and Tower, Port of Miami Seaport Redevelopment Program, Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

These exciting and unique construction projects have granted Serge an “insider’s view” on the vast developments that beautify and enhance our local Miami community.

Serge is an honorable member of the Florida Association of Museums, American Association of State and Local History, Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, CAMACOL-Latin Chamber of Commerce. Serge is a distinguished Board member of the African Museum of Arts and Culture.

Along with Serge’s admirable accomplishments, he earned numerous Proclamations and Resolutions from Miami Dade County School Board, City of North Miami, City of Miami, Miami Dade County and the Florida State Legislature.

As a New York native and graduate of the well-respected Florida A&M University, Serge earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
